I was born in Indiana into a vibrant family of four siblings. My father's proud service in the Army and my mother's dedication to counseling the handicapped and disabled shaped my upbringing, instilling a strong work ethic and determination within me. As I left home, I had already established myself as a successful manager at a local bank. With two children of my own, my determination to craft a brighter future for my family was unyielding.

However, life had unexpected plans in store. Suddenly, I found myself at rock bottom – homeless, struggling with addiction, and my children placed in foster care. Confronted with a pivotal crossroads – treatment or incarceration – and bolstered by the unwavering support of my family, I chose the path of treatment. This marked the beginning of my challenging journey towards recovery.

Through relentless effort and unwavering resolve, I reclaimed my sobriety and was joyfully reunited with my children. My journey continued as I persisted in my managerial career and eventually took the bold step of opening my own business. My story is a testament to the power of resilience and hope, a reminder that with unwavering determination, the seemingly impossible can be achieved.
