Emmy Award-winning reporter Louis Bolden joined the News 6 team in September of 2001 and hasn't gotten a moment's rest since. From hurricanes and brush fires to tornadoes and shuttle launches, Louis has covered nearly every big story in Central Florida. One of his most memorable stories happened behind bars. In a dramatic jailhouse interview, an inmate confessed to Louis in explicit detail how he killed his roommate and buried his body in the back yard. Louis said it was a huge lesson, because you never know what people are going to say. That's what Louis loves about news, "Just when you think you've seen and heard it all...you see and hear something else." Louis has been a General Assignment Reporter for News 6 and Weekend Morning Anchor.  He joined the Special Projects/Investigative Unit in 2014.  As an Investigator, Louis has broken countless stories, investigated school districts, the Lynx Bus system and has become an advocate for Central Florida consumers. He has covered numerous high profile trials in Central Florida, including the George Zimmerman trial and the Casey Anthony trial, where he provided coverage for all Graham Media stations. Before Orlando, Louis reported and anchored in Jackson, Miss., where he won three Associated Press Awards for Best General News Story. He also worked in television in Memphis, Tenn. He's a thrill-seeker who has enjoyed skydiving, hang-gliding and parasailing.
