
Ron Stucker has served as the Director of the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation (MBI) Director since 2015. MBI is a multi-agency task force in the 9th Judicial Circuit that investigates drug trafficking, human trafficking and organized crime. In 2019 and 2021 MBI received National HIDTA Awards for Outstanding Investigative Effort and Outstanding Violent Organization Investigative Effort, respectively, for dismantling complex and violent criminal enterprises.
Prior to his selection as the MBI Director, Director Stucker served 29 years with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office attaining the rank of Major. During his tenure with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, he commanded the Criminal Investigations Division, the Uniform Patrol Division, the Special Operations Division, the Court Services and Communications Division and the Professional Standards Division
Director Stucker received his Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida and his undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
